Tsutomu Kouno: LocoRoco can now pop their heads out from little cavities in the ground,grab onto vines and jump beyond their normal jumping capacity, jump in the water to swim, or even jump into objects and roll around to rumble through barrier obstacles. IGN: The LocoRoco appear to have new abilities in this game, like fitting into objects or leaping on vines. They have reinforced themselves by learning a creepy song that withers the LocoRoco world. Will we gain any extra insight into the Moja's actions this time around? Tsutomu Kouno: Yes, the Moja are back to feast on their favorite LocoRoco. IGN: Once again, the Moja return to threaten the LocoRoco. YES NO We have also included lots of animated cut scenes to add more to the story telling,the world map is more lively, the MuiMui have their wonderful MuiMui House,all aspects helping the world of LocoRoco expand even further. Fortunately, PSP owners have only a few short weeks to wait, as LocoRoco 2 will be released in early February.īuilding on the strengths of the original game, LocoRoco 2 includes a number of new features, including interactive music sequences, mini-games and abilities for your LocoRocos. Fun and creative, LocoRoco was a game that deserved a sequel, if not an entire franchise built around it. Of course, that was only half the story, as players also tried their best to eat fruit, explore the colorful environments and use your army of blobs to access new areas. The original game came out two years ago and was a fun puzzler that tasked players with freeing the LocoRoco from the evil machinations of the Moja. Few games are as easy to get into, as amusing to play or as musically catchy as LocoRoco.
